A Porcelain dish of octagonal form with underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome decoration in the "Kkakiemon"colour scheme and style, the drawing of sprays placed to one side of the dish and incorporating two colours blue and turquoise, and two kinds of flowers in red and white-bordered red,respectivelly. The imaemon household. akae, specialists since 1675, was associated with the Tokugawa clan and is currently honoured by the Imperial household. The work of the family continues the style of the Nabeshima wares. A. Wooden presentation box a wooden present and are being preserved with it. (Nederlands)
