Each wearing a robe loosely draped to reveal his corpulent belly and patterned with orets, sprigs and leafy stems, one painted in a ‘cashmire’ palette, the other in a similar palette enriched with yellow, and modeled seated, his right hand resting on his right knee, and his left hand supporting the long-stemmed pipe raised to his iron-red mouth, one pipe white with iron-red scrolls, the other black, the lower folds of his robe revealing his bare feet on the green low, conformingly-shaped base.
