Datering is een datumveld waarin een enkele datum kan worden opgeslagen. Via een qualifier kunnen we verdere precisering aanbrengen. Dat sluit aan bij Delftsaardewerk en Wikidata. Van Gogh Worldwide heeft liever een startdatum en een einddatum, dat zou als qualifier kunnen worden toegevoegd (mits die bekend zijn).
